Terms of custom development

Updated October 26, 2026

These are the general terms on which custom development orders are carried out — bots, plugins, parsers, integrations and other software.

This is a translation. If the Russian and English versions differ, the Russian version prevails.

1. Parties

1.1. Contractor — Alexey, a self-employed developer in Russia (professional income tax payer). Contact — Telegram @friedfluoride.

1.2. Client — the person or company ordering the development.

2. How the contract is concluded

2.1. Before payment, the Contractor and the Client agree on the order in chat: the task, price, deadlines, scope, number of revisions and warranty.

2.2. The contract is concluded when the Client pays for the agreed order: the Contractor's proposal in the chat together with these terms is the offer, and payment is its acceptance (Art. 438(3) of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation).

2.3. The chat is part of the contract, and the parties recognize it as the written form of the contract (Art. 434(2) of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation). If something was agreed in the chat differently from what is written here, the chat agreement applies. If an issue wasn't discussed in the chat, these terms apply.

3. Payment

3.1. The order is paid in advance, 100%, unless agreed otherwise in the chat.

3.2. The payment method is agreed in the chat. Payment through a forum escrow is possible — under the escrow's rules.

4. Deadlines

4.1. The deadline counts from the moment of payment and of receiving everything needed for the work from the Client: access, data, answers to questions.

4.2. If the Client delays answers or access, the deadline moves by the length of the delay.

5. Delivery and acceptance

5.1. The Contractor hands over the result — the code, a ready bot or access to it — and tells the Client it's ready.

5.2. The Client has 3 days to check the work and report any defects. If there were no comments during this time, the work is considered accepted.

6. Revisions and additions

6.1. The Contractor fixes, free of charge, defects that make the result not match the agreed task.

6.2. The number of revisions is agreed in the chat. New features and changes that weren't in the agreed task are separate work and are paid for separately.

7. Warranty

7.1. For 14 days after acceptance, the Contractor fixes bugs in their own code free of charge.

7.2. The warranty doesn't cover:

  • changes on the side of marketplaces, services and their APIs;
  • changes to the code made by the Client or anyone else;
  • running in an environment that wasn't agreed on.

7.3. Support and additions after the warranty — by separate agreement.

8. Cancelling an order

8.1. The Client may cancel the order at any time.

8.2. If the work hasn't started yet, the full payment is returned. If it has started — the payment minus the cost of the part already done.

9. Rights to the result

9.1. After full payment, the Client gets the source code and the exclusive right to the result of the work. At the Client's request, the Contractor confirms the transfer of the right in a separate document.

9.2. The Contractor keeps the right to use their general groundwork, libraries and tools that weren't created specifically for this order. If they are part of the result, the Client may use and modify them as part of the result without time limits.

9.3. The Contractor may mention the project in their portfolio without the Client's name, amounts or internal data — unless agreed otherwise in the chat.

10. Confidentiality

10.1. The Client's access details and data are used only to complete the order and are not passed on to third parties.

10.2. After the work is delivered, the Client is advised to change the passwords, tokens and keys they shared with the Contractor.

11. Liability

11.1. The Contractor is not liable for how third-party marketplaces and services work, for the blocking of the Client's accounts on them, or for how the Client uses the result.

11.2. The Contractor's liability is limited to the amount paid for the order. Lost profits and indirect losses are not compensated.

11.3. These limitations apply to the extent permitted by law and don't apply to intentional breach of obligations. If the Client is a consumer, these terms don't limit their rights under consumer protection law.

12. Disputes and contacts

12.1. Questions and claims — on Telegram at @friedfluoride. The Contractor responds to a claim within 10 days.

12.2. If no agreement is reached, the dispute is settled in court under the laws of the Russian Federation.

12.3. Contractor — Alexey, self-employed. Telegram @friedfluoride, website devfried.com.
